Using a Foam Roller

Foam rollers are amazing fitness and therapy tools because they provide a variety of benefits. They can help with flexibility and mobility, increase circulation, reduce soreness and tightness, and even relax the body. Foam rolling helps to release muscle tension and tightness while increasing range of motion. It also helps to improve posture by helping to keep muscles from becoming overworked. Additionally, foam rollers are great for myofascial release, which is a type of massage technique that can help relieve muscle pain. Finally, foam rollers can be used for self-massage or as part of an exercise routine. In this video, Mary Jo Healy provides exercises and therapeutic uses for these incredibly useful tools.
